It's definitely a great photograph, that much is for sure. The shirt looks almost like paper, and looks stiff and inflexible. Her half hidden face heightens that expression in her mouth. Nice work (again!!!) !!!

Pointless? I must disagree. This is one of my favorite shots, ans seeing as it's one you used on your site, you can't have thought it was too pointless to do that.

The expression on your face is the jewel in this photo. Your face, in all of your portraits, is the most expressive, emotional face I have ever seen photographed, and I mean that in all seriousness. You seem to simply project your emotions through the camera.

This portrait says to me, "I give up." It has a feeling of black resignation to it that inspires quite the sense of futility. I like it because it inspires that level of emotional response from me, not neccessarily because it's THAT emotion, of course.
